Although a large amount of information and paperwork was required to close the loan, we were able to assemble the necessary documents and close quickly. Wyndham had the best rate and the lowest closing costs which is one of the reasons we chose them, the other was positive feedback from other users. Our Loan Officer, Makeda, was professional and knowledgeable, two traits increasingly rare in today's world.

Sent in inquire and was called by rep. He was clear about what he needed to get from me and followed up if I had any questions. The amazing part was the response time when I left a message. It was usually the same day if not within an hour. Everything that was promised was delivered. If I ever need anything with refinancing I will call this company and also give as a referall to a friend. Use this company for a great experiance.

Very Happy!

After having a terrible experience with another lender I decided to check out Lending Tree. I recieved three great quotes, and decided to go with Wyndham Capital Mortgage because of their rat****.but more importantly because of my initial discussion with Melvin Hagler, the mortgage broker that called me from Wydham. Melvin was outstanding from the first conversation al the way through to the closing. He was extrememly easy to work with, and his communication was top notch. Melvin is supported by a great team who were also all very professional and get things done quickly. I can't say enough good thinkgs about my experience with Melvin Hagler and his team from Wyndham Capital Mortgage. I have already told all of my friends and neighbors about Melvin and Wydham Capital. If I ever have the need for another mortgage, I will call immediatlely call Melvin again! I rarely take the time to write a review, but I have never (yes, never) experienced service as good as this.

Mixed Feelings

Wyndham was very good at the beginning when we had chosen them. After reporting income, etc, the offered a pre-approval letter without hassle and everything seemed to go without a problem. When we picked a condo and signed the paperwork with our developer, things went sour after Wyndham dragged their feet and misdirected an appraiser that had to come to the property 3 different times to get additional information needed for underwriting. Slowly the 30 day closing date was approaching and communication between the originator and me was sub par. We missed the 30 day closing by 2 weeks despite many urgent requests, they seem to not realize the situation. It seems ODD that someone with a 780 FICO score, 20% down traditional mortgage couldn't close in a timely fashion and it made me look bad to developer. Despite the frustrations, things that were positive were the lower closing costs and rate. Also towards the end, Michelle and Judy really came through in the last couple days before closing working very diligently. In summary, responsiveness is sub par. They started well and ended well but the underwriting phase lacked polish and professionalism.

We really enjoyed the contact person we spoke with. He was extremely knowledgeable and took a lot of time to explain things to us as we are first time homebuyers. However, he was hesitant, to say the least, to communicate through email and wanted only to communicate via phone, which did not work with our schedules. Also, he took more than a couple of weeks to get back to us on information to pre qualify. We ended up going with LSI Mortgage Plus and Jill W and glad we did because we were in the last phase of homebuying (waiting on appraisal) when Wyndham Capital finally got back about prequalifying.

Our mortgage banker, Ben Teasley, was fantastic as was Monica Dickey, loan processor, and Michelle Zepkowski, loan coordinator. My husband and I have had many loans in the past but never have had the service and positive experience as we had with Wyndham. The online process as very straightforward and self-explanatory. We highly recommend Ben, Monica and Michelle for your loan needs. You certainly won't be sorry.

He was very responsive and knowledgeable in answering my questions and made the loan process very easy. The loan was approved and ready to go long time before our deadlines.
