Non Better Than Kyle Balder and Wyndham!!!

We recently did a Re-fi with Wyndham and it couldn't have gone easier, faster or better! The engine that made the process work was Kyle Balder. He was patient, courteous, and knowledgeable when we had questions. If we put in a call to Kyle he was back to us almost immediately and on two occasions left meeting to deal with us. All the costs that Wyndham and Kyle estimated were right on the money! During my business career I was a Sr. VP of Sales and if I could have found a boat load of Kyle Balder's my job would have been easier and our company would have rocked!!!!

Gave me a chance when other banks wouldn't

I was a difficult refi case and had been turned down twice by my local banks. I found Wyndham and worked with James Hyatt and from the very beginning he was positive and encouraging. On paper I look like a terrible risk thanks to a flakey ex-husband but Wyndham underwriters looked closely at the documents I had compiled and saw there was a different story than what the initial numbers provided. What really amazed me was the great rate they got me and unbelievably low fees. Prior to being officially turned down by other institutions, I was quoted anywhere for 6-10K in points and fees. Wyndham's fee was a fraction of that and beyond that it was standard closing costs - appraisal, title, escrow, county stuff. If you look a bit risky at first glance but can document the issues present, Wyndham will make it happen for you. I couldn't be happier.

Drew saved the day.

We were shopping for a home purchasing loan when our rental home mortgage bank called us and asked us for refinancing. We've decided to do both purchasing the new home and refinancing of the rental home with this bank so we don't have to do the same paper work twice. After all, they had us for last 7 years so what can go wrong. Refinance took a month, and we were told the purchasing loan was 98% done a month before the closing date. A week before the closing date, they started asking a few other documents which we provided right away. Three days before the closing date, they dropped the ball because they didn't know their own corporate policy. We could have provided whatever they needed but not in three days. We were more than furious because we had renters moving to our current home in 10 days and they couldn't close before that. We fired them and called Drew at Wyndham capital. Wyndham did two purchase loans and two refinancing loans with us in the past. We explained our dire situation and he set up our loan portal while we were on the phone. Drew told us with mandatory waiting period and such, two weeks would be the absolute minimum but he would try to set a record for us. We uploaded all the docs we had and the loan processor, Nona Johnson called us daily and let us know what additional docs requests had been posted. We turned them around in the matter of hours. She answered all our calls and was always in touch making sure everything went ok with the underwriters. She even stayed after 6:00 PM on Friday of Memorial day weekends to make sure the loan was completely processed. Anyway, Drew kept his promise. He rounded up all the right people and whatever he had to do pull this magic. We started the loan process on May 17th and closed on June 1st. That's 10 business days. Thanks to Drew, we didn't have to be homeless while owning two homes. Drew truly saved the day.
