Clay grew up in Asheboro, NC and moved to Charlotte after graduation to work for Wyndham Capital. One of four brothers, Clay grew up playing basketball, baseball, and football almost year round. Clay is a proud supporter of Appalachian State, NC State, and the Carolina Panthers.
