Thanks Thomas in Charlotte!
I can honestly say that I would not have refinanced without the perspective of Thomas from Wyndham in Charlotte. Over the past 2 years, I had looked at it a couple times and could not get my mind around when. I was in the unenviable position of going from a 30 year mortgage with a low rate to a 15 with a slightly higher rate. Because of my age and retirement plans, refinancing makes sense for me, but the timing is tough to evaluate. I am an engineer with a couple degrees, but I had never really spent enough time looking at the math in a way that would help me pull the trigger. Enter young Thomas, who showed me the logic in the only language that's truly universal. Although my monthly mortgage went up, our equity is rising wonderfully and we should be mortgage free before retirement. Thanks Thomas!!!
