Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever. The biggest regret ever was using this website to find a loan and then being linked with wyndham. They've turned this whole process into a conveyer belt process. No communication, lots of blaming each other for why something didn't happen or get done. They avoid your calls and never reply back to emails and if they do and you are on the west coast it doesn't matter what they ask for because they'll communicate with you at end of day for them. I have never had such a horrible experience. They are the worst I've ever had to deal with. They were more concerned with getting this sale and once that seemed inevitable they pretty much walked away and was the least amount of helpful possible. It felt like a bunch of children running this operation. We did not close on time and they failed to tell me anything.

Wyndham was late

Wyndham dropped the ball big time and was not ready on the appointed closing date. This was new construction and they had months to prepare. Adding insult to injury, it took nearly three months for them to finally reimburse us for out of pocket expenses (hotel, storage, extra move, food, etc.) caused by their delay. In addition, they did not address all items arbitrarily rounding down the amount. The sales team was good, but the loan officer and the process itself required re-sending information several times. There were many excuses offered as to why Wyndham was late. None of them made sense and it changed with each additional slip. I even helped them connect the dots on more than one occasion. Incompetence abounds within this company. Stay away.

Unauthorized processing

I was surprised to receive an email from Wyndham indicating that they ran my credit (report) without my authorization and hadn't heard from me on my application. Problem is that I quoted them an offer of what I received from another bank and they had told me that they could not beat it and would review rates and get back to me what they could do. Well, I never received a call back but started to receive emails from them telling me that they ran my credit and that they need to hear from me in 5 days otherwise my application will be closed. I never filed an application, never authorized them to run my credit and despite sending them an email explaining this, I never received a response but receive another email saying the same thing. This is just poor customer service and it is annoying. What gives them them the right to run my credit or start the process of a loan application without my authorization?

Complete Mess

I'd STRONGLY recommend anyone looking to go through Wyndham for a refinance go a different route. Their internal communication process is horribly broken. I just wasted two months trying to get a refinance done with them. I uploaded the requested documents, would see them in their portal, and was told repeatedly things were on track. When I pushed to try to find out why nothing seemed to be actually moving along, I was told they were missing a document (one that shows as being uploaded 5 weeks ago), and can't process the refinance. So now I'm two months in, when I provided everything needed, and have to start from scratch. I not ONCE got a call or an email asking for the information they thought was missing (again, that I see as uploaded to their portal). I emailed them over two dozen times over these two months, so there was more than enough opportunity to let me know of an issue, but not once did they. This was nothing but a big waste of time and money for me. Again, I'd strongly recommend if you're trying to refinance to look to use a different company because this one is just too broken to actually deliver.

NOT A GOOD MORTGAGE COMPANY

I wished i read all this complains about this company it is true they asked for every detail and took them 3 mounts i told them up front i don want appraisal done before i know if i get qualify they said everything is fine just need appraisal so it cost me $425.00 and after that thy ask for missing pages and finally they said i am under 45% and not qualify . please don't go to them i am not even sure if my personal information is safe with them . i am filling complain and want my $425.00 back. thank you for reading

Horrible Experience

I would NOT recommend this company. The whole process took 5 months, I had to send them the same documents over and over, finally the lending head had to get involved and things got a little better. Finally they called me one day and said that they needed to close THAT day (I was in NYC for business). This is after they had to change closing costs many times, find a new lender because they lost the rate lock, and on and on...

It takes forever

Lots of dumb questions they didn't need the answer to, they kept asking for the same things over and over, and asked for things I had already sent them. This went on for 4 months. They don't seem to really know how to close a loan.

Worst Experience Ever with Dennis McCoy

I had the WORST experience ever with Whydham Capital and specifically Dennis McCoy. STAY AWAY AND BEWARE unless you are a PERFECT client - which you should then go to the local bank. At first Dennis was so nice and welcoming ...****.that was until he realized it wasn't a perfect file. I guess 95% perfect doesn't work. He never got back to us, when we called for his manager his manager never contacted us, even the new assistant didn't call us back. RUN and RUN FAR from Dennis McCoy and Whyndham Capital. AFter 8 weeks of us waiting for answers he came back with lame excuses and things needed in our file that we had already given him. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE - Don't waste your time!!!!
